Directions to the Scottish Microelectronics Centre

By Car
Edinburgh is well connected to the UK trunk road and motorway network.

From the Edinburgh city bypass , A720, exit at the Straiton Junction following the A701 to the city centre.  At a large junction turn onto Mayfield Road. At the next set of traffic lights turn left into West Mains Road. Enter into The King's Buildings campus through Gate No. 1, which is directly opposite a SAAB garage. Continue straight ahead until you arrive at the SMC, we are  located at the right hand side before the roundabout.

Parking at the SMC: 

All visitors  to SMC are required to sign in at reception, visitors who require to park cars must log their car registration details at reception. 

By Air
Edinburgh Turnhouse Airport has regular shceduled services from a wide range of destinations accross the British Isles and Europe.

By Rail
Edinburgh is well served by the national rail network.  All trains arrive at Waverley Station in the city Centre.

By Taxi
From Waverley train station it is approx 15 minute drive.
From Edinburgh Turnhouse Airport it is approx 30 minutes drive.
